Connection Technology

The areas of application for our PCB Terminal Blocks and PCB Multi-Connectors are very diverse. PTR HARTMANN products are used in sectors from automation technology, safety engineering and telecommunications right up to building automation.

Special designs of PCB Terminal Blocks and PCB Multi-Connector Systems such as special lengths for soldering pins, different colours, partly-assembled PCB Terminal Blocks, marking with pad printing, inkjet printing or laser marking are just as much a part of our scope of delivery as the supplying of modules, fully-populated PCBs with or without pre-assembled cables as well as PCB Terminal Blocks and pin strips in tape-on-reel, tube or tray packaging.

PCB Terminal Blocks

PCB terminal blocks are divided into two groups, namely screw terminal blocks and spring terminal blocks.

At PTR Hartmann these consist of metric and inch spacings from 2.5 mm up to 12.24 mm. Different connection types, e.g. the lift type used for connections which need to be released frequently, up to the time-saving and innovative push-in technology – allow our VDE and cURus certified product range to deal with all requirements.

PCB Multi-Connectors

PTR HARTMANN’s PCB multi-connectors are ideal as connection solutions for use in transferring energy, signals and data in the sectors of safety and security technology, automation, network monitoring or telecommunications.

They are divided into screw terminal blocks and spring terminal blocks, and are available as an easy-to-use and reliable connection for your application, from spacings of 3.5 mm to 15.14 mm. Our products offer safe, secure and fast solutions, from the tried-and-tested connection principle of screw technology to the time-saving and innovative push-in technology.

Pin Strips

Pin strips are part of a multi-connector system. They are fixed to the PCB and connected to the appropriate PCB terminal block, also known as connector strips or connectors.

PTR HARTMANN’s pin strips are VDE and cURus certified and available in different pin lengths and a range of colours.

Tape-on-Reel Products

PTR HARTMANN offers a large number of PCB terminal blocks or pin strips for automated assembly of PCBs.

Whether for surface-mounted devices (SMD) or the frequently-used through-hole technology (THT), by using our products you can quickly and efficiently assemble PCBs by using the reflow soldering process or the wave soldering process. Our products are delivered in reels, trays or tubes.
